Emily is a performer and creative who’s passion for movement led to her love of all things Pilates.
Originally from Brisbane, Emily made the move to Perth to study a bachelor of performing arts at WAAPA. Growing up Emily danced from a young age and has taught dance since 2016. Over the years she has utilised Pilates elements to strengthen dancers and prevent injury.
Her passion for dance and performing led to her curiosity around movement and after seeing and feeling the enormous benefits of Pilates in both her and her student’s bodies she wanted to deepen her knowledge and decided to complete her Mat and Reformer Pilates certification through Unite Health (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute).
Emily’s is a passionate teacher whose goal is to establish an environment where clients are comfortable and open. This allows her to get to know them better and through tactile and verbal feedback allows clients to achieve their goals. Expect a class full of creativity that fuses dance, technique and fun.
When Emily isn’t teaching or performing, she can be found at the beach or in nature, reading, exercising or being creative.
